Voices echo through the hallway – raised, urgent – then fade with every step up the stairs. Down below, the police are trying to calm Leon’s parents, whose world has just been turned upside down. Their 18-year-old son is gone. No note, no trace, no explanation. No one knows where he is. But his younger brother Jonas isn’t ready to let it go. When he finally steps into Leon’s room, he’s met with a mystery. Where do you even begin? What counts as a clue? And what can any of it tell him about what really happened?

“Leon’s Identität” was commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia. The game is designed to give young people the opportunity to explore topics such as far-right extremism and radicalization in a playful way and to examine the underlying motives. The point-and-click adventure uses fictional representations of real structures found in far-right extremist and other radical movements.
